Because no diagnoses can be made via telephone or Skype, this only happens in my naturopathic practice. The client is advised that the treatment of a naturopath does not completely replace a medical treatment by a physician. If medical advice is required, the naturopath will immediately arrange for a referral to a physician. This also applies if the naturopath is not able to apply treatment because of lack of specialist knowledge or due to a legal prohibition.
